As the upper body muscles are allowed to relax, the hands and lower body become more awakened.
These gentle and balanced movements loosen up the upper body and ease mind tension, while
increasing blood and energy circulation in the abdomen and lower body. These slow movements eliminate
tension when compared to high pace movements, which require fast muscle contraction. In addition, slow
movements allow the lungs to be more relaxed, increasing the intake of oxygen while generating less
oxidants in the body. In Tai-Chi practice, it is considered important to concentrate, put aside distracting
thoughts, and breathe in a deep, relaxed, and focused manner. Practitioners will have many benefits from
bringing back the mind to the body.

We recommend combining Tai-Chi practice with Breath Qi-Gong classes to recharge and balance your
energy, and build strength in your lower abdomen(Dahn-Jun). It helps your Tai Chi practice.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a healing art that
combines mind, body and
Qi-energy movements. Slow
and relaxed, condensing and
expanding movements of
Tai-Chi provide a holistic
exercise to harmonize mind
and body with Qi-energy flow.
